It is disarming how loquacious and vibrant Ryan Mack can be when describing his journey - a barrage of humor and honesty, and that virtuoso effect radiates on his latest single "Only Human." For a young artist still mapping the first moves of what can be expected to be a long career, the healthy perspective that Ryan shares isn't your typical internet-bred empty calories of guidance.

"Only Human" is a fun romp of energy and advice delivered in a way that breeches typical acquiesce, a hand extended for running up that hill, around the obstacle. And of course, Ryan himself has experience in striving then thriving; a child of nine siblings, a firm outsider from music without connections, he built his audience from earnest, open interactions online, treating all his content as art. As an independent artist, he is both grateful for the freedom and understanding of its compromises. That struggle and perseverance is evident on not just "Only Human" but all his music so far.

Ryan collapses the tale of our daily strife into its most succinct, accessible counsel, unravelling in jest and wit while the infectious production allows for then enthusiasm to be mirrored by bright strings and bold piano chords. Co-written by Oli Som, the genesis of the song was the product of trying to condense the energy of Ryan's live show into a song that one could travel with outside the venue.  "When I was writing this song, I wanted to convey the message that everybody has bad days. Everybody can fall down and everyone can make mistakes but we will get back up and tomorrow is another day," adds Ryan.  

For those mired in the daily grind, "Only Human" rings true in all of life settings; and while Ryan may only be human himself despite his talents, he's kindly provided a musical exoskeleton for you to mirror his great gift of passion, honesty, and energy.
