“Lady Lady,” the second single from Olivia Dean’s upcoming and highly anticipated sophomore album, The Art of Loving, is a graceful ode to feminine strength. Dean’s emotional clarity, stunning vocals, and undeniable warmth are as present as ever, while her unbridled confidence and sense of self flow through the track.

As we know very well by now, Olivia Dean’s voice is like pure honey. Her strength as a vocalist is undisputed, making her a standout among her peers. Additionally, the rich yet restrained instrumental in “Lady Lady” lets Dean's tone truly shine—she does it so effortlessly, it’s enviable.

“Lady Lady is a song about the universe, mother nature and accepting and trusting in the plan that she has for you,” said Olivia Dean about the track. “It’s about the feeling of having to change just as you’re getting used to a version of yourself. This song reminds me of the power we hold as women, I think it feels like peace.”

After hit singles “Dive” and recent standout, “Nice to Each Other,” Olivia Dean has been catapulted into the pop-girl spotlight, which she’s handling with confidence. As we’ve learned from “Lady Lady” and even the rest of her discography, Dean is an expert in welcoming change, even when it arrives just as comfort begins to set in.

Currently, Olivia Dean is on her sold-out headline tour, and in the fall, she will be opening for Sabrina Carpenter. The Art of Loving arrives September 26th, and we’re counting down the days.
