Lo Village Responds to Chaos on Their 'Lost in America' EP
Through a collection of singles, EPs, and projects, Lo Village has set a high bar for their art. The DMV trio's music meets at the intersection between conscious hip hop and smooth R&B with their lyrical content focusing on societal critiques and political commentary. With these characteristics tying all of their music together, Lo Village manages to surprise listeners and exceed expectations with each new project. Their latest EP Lost in America is Lo Village demonstrating their artistic talent as well as their perspective on recent chaos.

Lost in America is only 5 songs long, but the group is able to communicate so much in its short runtime. The opening track "Sick" has an incredibly catchy hook and some of the best verses of the project. The following tracks "Run" and "Terry Crews" also have similar laid back instrumentals with each member’s topical verses and flows stealing the show.
It's difficult to strike such a perfect balance between lyrical substance and interesting delivery, but Lo Village seems to effortlessly accomplish this.
