Isabel LaRosa Concocts a Dark, Intoxicating Obsession in "Pretty Boy"

Alt-pop songstress Isabel LaRosa is absolutely obsessed in her latest single, "pretty boy." Fueled by demure sonics and sultry vocals, LaRosa falls down the rabbit hole of infatuation, finding herself in an intoxicating, all-consuming liaison.
The single opens with a racing collage of dark, dance-inducing synths and rumbling bass rhythms. LaRosa's signature ethereal, siren-like vocals paint a picture of admiration and desire for her first love despite the pain and anger that occasionally rears its ugly head. Reaching a brief calm in the instrumentals, she declares that she ultimately wants "your name forever behind mine."
The production takes on a more pulsating, magnetic tone on the hook, leading to her asking her lover to be her "pretty boy." She gives herself over, breathily crooning, "Hand on my mouth, cut out the noise... I'm so obsessed it's not a choice / I'm melting you when I hear your voice," proclaiming that she belongs to him.
Chosen as one of Spotify's Pop Rising Artists to Watch in 2024 with over 16 million monthly listeners on Spotify, LaRosa is showing no signs of slowing down. Announced earlier this summer, LaRosa will join Audacy's We Can Survive, along with RCA icons Tate McRae, Khalid, and Justin Timberlake. Come September, LaRosa will kick off her US headline tour on September 8 and then hit Glasgow on October 21 for her UK/EU headline tour.
