Cameron Hardy's " I Thought You Were Lonely" Is Only the Beginning

After spending his teen years as an actor, Cameron Hardy debuts his first single as a promising up-and-coming pop artist. And his debut comes in a big way. Posted up across America, we've seen billboards on billboards about this kid. From Sunset Boulevard to Times Square, Hardy is a name we haven't been able to miss. "I Thought You Were Lonely" seems to be only the beginning.

Working in the studio for nearly two years, Hardy has been building up quite the catalog of music. Working with notable producers, Hardy has been building up his independent career like no other. "I Thought You Were Lonely" was one of the first songs Hardy had ever written as an artist. It was also one of the first times he had ever left a session feeling confident in what he was writing.

Hardy is a storyteller at heart. Whether it's fiction or a situation he's personally lived through, he paints a vivid picture through heartfelt lyrics and emphatic production. And with his debut single, he felt it was important to really show the industry what he's about.

"I knew going into this, I didn't want to half ass anything. So, from the very beginning, I was very particular on how I wanted my music to sound. How I want to come across, the things I wanted to say within my music, this has to be me. I want people to get a really good look at me and who I am as an artist."

The single arrives hand in hand with an eye-catching music video. After a year of creating the video itself in increments due to the ongoing pandemic, the process was long but inevitably worth it. Something so indescribable, you just need to see it with your own eyes. But, that may be the best part of Hardy. We don't know where he came from, or who exactly he is, but we're here for it and excited to see where this year takes him.
